Merde, but the wind is difficult today.
They mount at 30 guns, 8 guns, and a merchant.

The British Fleet
Rule Britannia, Britannia rules the waves....okay, okay, I'l stop singing:
HMS Yellowjacket mounts 28 guns, then 12 guns, and a merchant ship.

The Pirate "Fleet" Sails into view, one ship at a time!
Here you go, what you've all been wanting to see, ships, especially the pirate ships:
Those ships rate at the following guns - not yet known, not yet known, 10 gunner, and 20 gunner. Actually, I have gun barrels on order to make them all well gunned but I don't want to give it all away, now do I?
And, yes, the sun was going down and casting a strong shadow!

Ships are in port - well, in camera...
...but not here on the web just yet - loading into computer from camera as I type, and eat, as I have to be out the door for the real world job that pays for the toys. Hopefully, when I get home late this evening I'll get a chance to post at least some of them. If not all, then surely by tomorrow. Not the greatest photos but they are just to show the ships for those who haven't yet seen them. Until next post, Avast There You Lubbers.

Parlez vous francais? No, me neither, but...
...this is one incredible event - and also proof that I'm not the craziest pirate gamer on the planet (I think, this was a lot of stuff from a lot of people all brought together for the day versus my event being all my toys but a lot of effort from a lot of others; sometimes it is good to be a little crazy):

You don't need to read French to look at those pictures. Incredible.

Ship Photo Preparations Complete
Okay, no ship photos just yet but today I did complete the sky backdrop and the ocean cloth for taking the photos so hopefully tomorrow. Also, expect some other news soon to be shared with all those paying attention. Better to pay attention than to pay off a pirate, right? Unless you're the pirate!

Ships, ah...ships, ah...ships? Ahem.
Sorry, no ships yet but the wife is happy because I spent a lot of time with her despite all the money being spent on this game. I hope you find that a worthy trade off. As to the ships, well, keeping her happy deprived me of time to take the needed photographs - but don't despair, they will appear.
And having heard some additional input - some of which was a bit confusing because clearly some of you are seeing very different colors than I see when designing - I've tried some additional tweaks to the site's design that, hopefully, will make it easier to read. Though the colors are different for some of us, it finally penetrated my occasionally thick skull (I guess that's a good thing for a pirate?) what was being said about the "dark background." Hope these changes help.
Now I have to go sort out some surprises - an order arrived yesterday - for the players (did I say anything, anything at all, about unpleasantness?).
I know, I know: photographs.
Shh, you'll wake the wife.
